BIOGRAFIA

Rupert Wegerif with Sara Hennessey coordinates the Cambridge Education Dialogue Research Group or CEDiR. CEDIR aim is to research and develop a dialogic approach to education. We are developing a global research community with that shared aim.

All his projects and teaching are united by a focus on educational dialogue and on a dialogic theory of education. He also has a particular interest in the Internet and new media as vehicles for dialogic education.

He often writes on the theory of dialogic education as a new approach within educational psychology. He holds the 'Professor of Education (2000)' endowed chair at Cambridge. He is joint coordinator of the EARLI SIG on ‘educational theory‘ (EARLI SIG 25).
