BIOGRAPHY
Bachelor degree in Cinematography (2009) by Centro Universitario de Estudios Cinematográficos, UNAM (Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México). Master’s degree in Educational Psychology (2017) by UDL (Universidad de Lleida).
Having started her career as a cinematographic producer in Mexico since 2003, she moved to Thailand in 2012 and started teaching ESL courses as an associate lecturer at the Assumption University of Thailand. In 2016 she came to Lleida to move on to a Master’s degree and a Ph.D.
Currently, she is working on her thesis in the scope of creativity, media literacy, and the educational use of cinematographic creation. Her research focuses on the acquisition of media and creative skills as a by-product of experiencing video making as a collaborative learning strategy.
She combines researching at COnTIC and teaching in the extracurricular field.
